Text Prompt to Pixel exists because most advice about AI image generation is either a list of magic words with no explanation, or a tour of a settings panel with no sense of which controls matter. We would rather explain the mechanism, then show what changing it does.
What the site covers
Everything here sits somewhere on the path from prompt to finished image. Writing prompts that describe a picture instead of gesturing at one. Negative prompts, and the honest question of when they earn their place. The settings that visibly change an output — steps, guidance, sampler, resolution — separated from the ones people fiddle with out of habit. Seeds and why the same words twice can hand you two different pictures. Iterating without flailing. Upscaling and finishing, which is where a lot of otherwise good drafts quietly die. And the awkward, useful subject of why models have habits at all.
Alongside the guides we review the tools you would actually run this in. Those reviews are written around the work — can you get a specific idea out of it, how much fighting is involved, what happens when you need a second version — rather than around the feature list on the pricing page.
How it is edited
Guides are written by people who generate images, not by people summarising other articles. When we describe a result, we describe how it was produced: the prompt, the settings, and roughly how many attempts it took. If a technique only worked once, we say so, because a trick you cannot reproduce is a story, not a method.
We do not publish scores. There is no rating out of ten on this site, no ranked tiers, and no badges, because a number implies a measurement we did not take. Where we have an opinion about which tool suits which job, we state it as an opinion and explain the reasoning, so you can disagree with the reasoning rather than with a digit.
Image models change fast and advice ages badly. When a guide stops matching what we see in front of us, we rewrite it or take it down. Leaving stale instructions up because they still attract visitors is the single easiest way for a site like this to become useless.
How the site is funded
Some of the links to tools we write about are affiliate links. If you follow one and sign up, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. That is the main way the site pays for itself.
It does not buy anything else. A commercial relationship never decides whether a tool is covered, where it appears, or how kindly it is described. We write about products we would mention regardless, and criticism stays in when it is deserved. If we ever cannot cover something honestly under those terms, we would rather not cover it.
Corrections and contact
If something here is wrong, out of date, or unclear, tell us and we will fix it. Corrections to published guides are made in place. Write to [email protected].
What this site is not
It is not a generator, and it does not host or sell images. It is not legal advice about what you may create or publish with a given model — licences and terms differ between tools and change often, so check the ones you are using. And it is not a promise that any technique described here will work identically on your setup; models, versions, and defaults vary, which is precisely why we explain the mechanism rather than handing out incantations.
